Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2, 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Sky ("the Software"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License

Core (free tier): Sky Core is provided under the MIT License. You may use, modify, and distribute it subject to that license.

Pro and Team (paid tiers): A paid license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Sky Pro or Team on the number of devices covered by your subscription. You may not sublicense, resell, or redistribute paid builds.

3. Local-first architecture

Sky runs entirely on your hardware. We do not operate servers that store, process, or have access to your data, conversations, memories, audit logs, or Sentinel scan results. Because we never receive your data, we cannot and do not sell, share, or monetize it.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Payment and refunds

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you have not used paid features beyond initial setup.

7. No warranty

Sky is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. We do not guarantee that Sky will detect all threats, prevent all breaches, or be free of bugs.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the creators of Sky shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from or related to your use of Sky.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
